Parrot AR Drone Helicopter

With the summer holidays just around the corner, you must be thinking of ways to keep the kids occupied. Well with that in mind we thought we’d bring you a great toy that’s fun for the kids and adults alike.

The AR Drone by Parrot is a remote controlled quadricoptor which means it has four blades making it very simple to fly and hover. In addition to the four blades, it has dual camera’s one on the front and one on the base meaning that whilst you’re controlling the AR Drone from your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad you can also view your surroundings on screen.

Of course there all sorts of remote control helicopters around at the moment but they can be difficult to control and let’s face it, how many of them have the ability to be controlled with your mobile phone and view live video from the sky’s above?
