Panasonic launch 40 inch OLED TV 2009

Panasonic will launch 40 inch OLED TV
If you thought the Sony XEL-1 OLED TV was impressive, then you will be astounded by the rumours that Panasonic will be launching a 40 inch OLED TV to the mass market, thanks for Sumitomo Chemical, whose green campaigns are making it commercially possible.
Currently only Sony have an OLED TV for sale, the XEL-1 costing £3k for a modest 11 inches. If Panasonic manage to come in on budget with a 40 inch OLED TV variant, it will certainly shake up the industry. They will also introduce a 37 inch version slightly earlier to test the water.
OLED TVs are famous for being extra thin (3mm infact), amazingly bright, and super energy efficient, so ticks a lot of boxes for those looking for the ultimate viewing machine!
Keep an eye on PriceInspector.co.uk, as they will have the cheapest prices on all OLED TVs that hit the UK, from a great selection of TV retailers.
