Philips put 3D TV on standby
We have recently heard that Philips have shelved their ideas on 3D TV, as they claim the cost to manufacture and therefore sell to punters is way too high.
Despite already shelling out millions on the development and research into its WOWvx technology, they are abandoning any further work on the 3D TV.
A bit of a blow to those of you desperately waiting to get their mitts on a futuristic TV, but fear not as Panasonic is flying the flag where it is believed they are close to bring their 3D TV to market next year (don't ask how much it will cost - you may need a second mortgage!)
We'll keep you posted - either way, PriceInspector.co.uk will have the cheapest prices in the UK for 3D TVs and all other LCD TVs and Plasma TVs.
